A lot of UV prints tie up the machine for 20 minutes or more per piece, so I wanted something quicker. This leatherette magnetic money clip on the xTool O1 Omni Dual UV fits that pretty well.
I set one clip right on the bed, scan it in xTool Studio, crop and rotate the artwork to fit, and print it without a jig. That’s fine for a single test, but for a batch, a jig would make alignment a lot easier and more repeatable.
It printed in 3 minutes 9 seconds, and xTool Studio estimated $0.0057 in ink. The JDS Industries blanks start around $3 each and require a resale certificate, and I talk through an $8 to $10 range for a basic one, with room to charge more for a name, logo, or more personalized artwork.
You can fit several on the bed for charity, church, or local-business orders, and the same blank works as a page marker too. Sometimes a simple three-minute item is more useful than a complicated showpiece.
