A High-Margin Slate Coaster Project You Can Print in Under 20 Minutes

I UV print full-color slate coasters on the xTool O1 Omni and cover the layer setup, design choices, a scratch test, and pricing.

Slate coasters are a pretty straightforward UV print on the xTool O1 Omni and a good place to start with custom coasters. I’m still early in my long-term testing, so take this as a starting point.

I scan and align the coaster designs in xTool Studio, pick the white and color layers, and set up a flat UV print. I also get into ink costs, estimated print times, RGB versus CMYK, and the Rock/Stone preset.

Design choice matters a lot on dark slate. Graphics with lighter colors tend to come out better, and I point out where some of my own graphic picks may not have been the best fit.

I finish with a scratch test to check durability, then go over pricing based on material and ink costs, plus some ideas for coaster variations you could sell.
