Cork coasters are cheap blanks, so I wanted to see how they print on the xTool O1 Omni. I scan the four-inch coaster, center the artwork in xTool Studio, and add a white backing layer under the color.
The first coaster gets one white layer and one color layer. It took less than five minutes, with an estimated ink cost of about 1.7 cents.
Then I printed a second one over two white layers. The extra white makes the colors more vibrant, but it costs more time and ink, so seeing them side by side helps you decide if it’s worth it for your artwork and price.
With blank and ink costs this low, I’d focus more on batching and personalization than on saving fractions of a cent. Good alignment and a deliberate white-layer choice are what make it repeatable.
