The Creality Falcon A1C is small, with an autofocus bed, a built-in camera, and quick results, which is why I’m curious about it for craft shows and personalized work. This is a first look, not a full review, and I have more projects planned with it.
I show how to swap between the 10W diode and the 1.2W infrared modules, then go over the workspace and autofocus bed. I connect it to my shop laptop and start on a basswood bookmark, using autofocus and the camera to frame it.
I use both modules on basswood and metal, and I mention why firmware updates matter. It cut and engraved faster than I expected, though there are tradeoffs in power compared to bigger machines.
My first impression is that it has real potential for quick personalization at a craft show. I’ll share more as I make more projects with it.
