Who am I?
Hi there, I’m Patrick Campanale.
First and foremost, I’m a Christian, husband, and maker, in that order. Christ is King of my life, and I’ve served at my local church since November 2021, first as a youth pastor and now as the IT and media director. I love every second of it!
My wife and I got married in September of 2019 and have lived in Middle Tennessee ever since, enjoying every moment of this journey called life together. And then there’s being a maker, a passion I didn’t discover until I was in my early 20s but have really enjoyed the journey of discovering my favorite techniques, meeting other makers, and creating items that bring massive smiles to customers’ faces whenever they open the package.

I make things with wood, lasers, CNCs, 3D printers, and UV printers, and I love teaching people how to use them.
Teaching
My true passion in the maker space
In 2024, I found my true passion in the maker space: teaching. I’ve always loved teaching others how to do things, but in 2024, my passion for teaching others how to use their lasers and other machines really exploded.
I had the distinct honor to teach breakout sessions on xTool’s Creative Space at The Next Level Laser Conference in 2025, and I got to come back to Next Level in 2026 to teach “Getting the Most Out of Your xTool Lasers.” Those sessions solidified the next step of my journey: being a maker who helps other makers get comfortable with their machines!
My faith
Who’s my God?
I believe that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, came to this earth, died for my sin (and yours), was crucified on a cross, was buried for three days, and at the end, He rose again! If you have any questions about me, my faith, or God, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me!
One mission of Created Workshop is to spread the Gospel. In every package we send out, we include a little red Bible that has verses of salvation, assurance, and help. So far, we have shipped a package to every corner of the country, from Miami to Seattle, New York, and Beverly Hills. We’ve even had customers in Hawaii! It’s our hope and prayer that those little red Bibles are able to make a difference in someone’s life. If just one life is changed for the Lord, then that’ll be worth all the effort.
It doesn’t stop there, however. My goal is to share the Gospel as far and wide as I can. So, you’ll see (or hear) me talk about my faith in my videos, trainings, on social media, or in podcasts that I’m a part of! Without God, my life would be utterly impossible. With God, nothing is impossible!
The name
Why Created Workshop?
Honestly, I went through many name ideas. My wife and I worked together to come up with what we would want to call my woodworking business in 2021. Well, one morning I woke up and felt like God gave me a fantastic name for the business: Created Workshop.
Where’d this come from? Well, I’m God’s creation that comes up with my own creations. Jesus Himself created us, and now I’m taking what He’s given me and using that talent to make beautiful works from God’s creation, the earth.
“For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works…”
Ephesians 2:10, KJV
That verse is the whole idea behind the name, and it’s why Ephesians 2:10 sits right under the logo. The workshop has changed a lot since 2021, from mostly woodworking to lasers, CNCs, 3D printers, and UV printers, but the name still fits.
