I used the xTool O1 Omni to turn a cheap blank canvas into full-color wall art with a personal photo. I kept it to a straightforward color print, without texture, relief, or an AI painting effect.
I scan the canvas in xTool Studio, bring in a photo that’s already cropped to fit, then rotate it and size it slightly over for edge coverage. I tried Smart Mask, cleared it, and aligned the image by hand, and since the canvas is white, I used one color layer with no white ink on the high-quality setting.
The print covers about 11.5 by 15.5 inches, takes about 23 minutes, and uses less than 6.5 cents of ink. A pre-stretched canvas keeps things easy but leaves the sides unprinted, so for a full wrap you’d print loose canvas and stretch it afterward, or you can just paint the exposed edges.
A pack of seven 11-by-14 canvases was $9.99, so each blank is about $1.40 before ink, and comparable finished pieces were going for around $18 to $25. A flat pre-stretched print can be an affordable product, while a hand-stretched wrap can justify a higher price.
