How to UV Print Photos on Clear Acrylic with the xTool O1 Omni

I walk through UV printing a photo on clear acrylic with the xTool O1 Omni, including mirroring, layer order, and a 3D-printed kickstand.

In this one, I UV print a photo onto a clear acrylic sheet with the xTool O1 Omni, then finish it off with a 3D-printed kickstand so it can stand on its own.

I align the acrylic, mask and mirror the image in xTool Studio, and set up the color and white layers. I also cover a layer order mistake you can run into and show how I position and crop the artwork.

Each print came out to roughly $2 in material and about 15 minutes of print time. Getting the mirroring right in xTool Studio is the part you really don’t want to skip.

Similar custom acrylic pictures have sold for around $50 locally, so there’s a decent margin here. If you’re thinking about selling these, it’s worth looking at batching and how you price them.
