A High Profit Laser Project You Can Make in About 35 Minutes

I engrave a personalized MakerFlo marble and acacia serving board on my xTool lasers and talk through why I’d price it around $90 to $100.

This project is a MakerFlo marble and acacia serving board that’s easy to personalize with names or initials. I design it in xTool Studio and engrave it on my xTool P3 and F1 Ultra.

I use camera alignment to get the design placed exactly where I want it, run test engravings to dial in settings and batch the engraving to save time. I also use setup blocks to level the utensils while they engrave, and the same approach should work on plenty of other lasers.

All in, it takes me about 35 minutes. I think $90 to $100 is a fair retail price, especially for wedding or housewarming gifts, and I really don’t want you undervaluing your work.

At the end, I give you a quick tour of my newly renovated workshop. Let me know in the comments what you’d like to see next.
