6-inch Round EDC Tray Laser Blank

Keep your EDC (everyday carry) items organized and easily accessible with our 6-inch Round EDC Tray. Made from solid hardwood, this laser blank comes unfinished so you can engrave, sand, and finish! Its sleek design adds a touch of style to any space.

Trays measure 6-inches around and approximately .75 to 1 inch thick.

Keep in mind that all products are made from 100% solid hardwood with no dyes or stains involved. Because of this, there will be natural variation in the trays that you receive due to the nature of wood. Some might have more light spots, some more dark spots, some varied in color, and some a fairly solid color. 

All of the products are worked by hand in our Middle Tennessee one-man workshop where we take the lumber from rough milled to final product. Once produced, we sand with 80- then 220-grit sandpaper for a smooth finish. Each piece comes unfinished, which adds a little bit of work on your end, but also frees you to have overburn on the laser and then simply sand it away. 

For finish, we recommend beeswax and coconut oil combined over a double boiler if you want the exact same stuff we use in-house (we’re working to offer this for purchase), but simple fractionated (liquid at room temperature) coconut oil works great. Home Depot or Lowe’s also sells oil-based finishes for cutting boards, which will work; though those are typically mineral oil-based which we try to avoid ourselves.
