About

Who Am I?

My Story

Here, you’ll learn more about who I am, what I do, and who my God is. I’m a Christian first, husband second, and woodworker third. That’s the order I live my life in and honestly, I couldn’t imagine anything else.

Who's my God?

I’m a Christian who believes in the One True God. I use the King James Bible and have attended nearly three years of seminary school with an emphasis on pastoral studies. I am heavily involved in my local church, leading singing on Wednesday nights and am the Youth Director. I believe that Jesus Christ came to this earth, died for my sin (and yours,) was crucified on a cross, was buried for three days, and at the end, He rose again! If you have any questions about me, my faith, or God, please don’t hesitate to reach out to me on Instagram or through the Contact page.

Why Created Workshop?

Honestly, I went through many name ideas. My wife and I worked together to come up what we would want to call my woodworking business, and even toyed around with just using my name with Custom Woodworks at the end. Well, one morning I woke up and felt like God gave me a fantastic name for the business: Created Workshop. Where’d this come from? Well, I’m God’s creation that comes up with my own wooden creations. Genesis 1:27 says “So God created man in his own image…” and here, that image (me) shares what I’ve created.

So, that’s where Created Workshop was born. I’m just God’s creation trying to shine some light into the world and share my designs and creations with others.

So who exactly am I?

Well, I’m Patrick, of course! I’m married to the most wonderful woman in the world, Marlene. She even has her own business! We love life together, are continually exploring the world, and just having a fantastic time!

For my day job, I write for 9to5Toys, where I primarily cover PC and console game deals, news, and hardware. Occasionally, I’m a gamer (who loves Apex Legends and No Man’s Sky), photographer (always tinkering, constantly learning,) and I run my own homelab. As mentioned above, I’m also the Youth Director and Wednesday night song leader at my local church we I absolutely love being heavily involved.
