If you just got a Monport K40, or any CO2 laser, this keychain is a nice easy project
to start with. It’s also something you could sell if you want to.

I design it in LightBurn using mirroring and offset for the engrave and cut, then
position the material, set up the laser and run it. It’s honestly a pretty simple
process.

I used clear acrylic here, but plywood or MDF works too. I also have more K40 videos
planned, including modifications like an automatic bed.

It doesn’t take much setup and it looks good when it’s done, so try a few designs
and materials and see what you like.
